Members MarvelUndies
This is very true. I haven't personally found any 80s Squiers in pawn shops near me, but I've found plenty of 90s to early 2000s Squiers. I still have my first two in the collection: An '89 Squier Bullet and an' 03 Affinity Strat. Both still in perfect working order, which is amazing considering that I've had the Bullet for nearly 20 years and the Strat for about 13, and that Strat has been thoroughly abused. Members thatsbunk
My final thoughts on this thread is to save up for a $300-500 guitar. Amazing what u can get at that price point
Members humbuckerstrat
I got an Epiphone Special II for $95 from Reverb.com. But the S&H was $40. I'm trying to resist the urge to change out everything on it, that could get expensive. Besides, everything works on it okay (even the tuners). Members MarvelUndies
That's pretty neat! The stickers aren't too bad either. Having been a teenager that covered his first Squier Affinity Strat with stickers from music magazines, I am in no position to judge. Really impressed with the price you snagged it for. That's some pro bargain hunting

Members samal50
Thanks man, it's just I rarely see these guitars advertised or sold at the guitar center. In the 90's and early 00's I see them often. These days it seems like PRS and Schecter are the new "it" brands. The Gibsons and Jackson are still mainstays. Members samal50
It's hard to tell what scale some of the used guitars are listed on Guitar Center. I saw a few used Cort and Samick that was listed as "good condition" and some are "excellent condition". This one from Cort looks sweet: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Cort/X-2-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar.gc These Samick guitars look good and in excellent condition: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Greg-Bennett-Design-by-Samick/Torino-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar-112281429.gc http://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Greg-Bennett-Design-by-Samick/Interceptor-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar-112407288.gc How's this one? New for $129? Didn't state the scale if it's full standard sized or what: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ibanez/GRX20W-Electric-Guitar-Sunburst-1411568908008.gc?pfm=home_page.rr1#productDetail
