Members Anderton Posted March 10, 2016 Members Posted March 10, 2016 Apparently it's also a sufficiently slow-moving cancer that when a lot of older people get it, the doctors don't do anything because the patient would have to live to be 110 or something before the cancer actually killed them.
Phil O'Keefe Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 My brother in law had it, but being in his late 60s they felt he was young enough, and the cancer aggressive enough that it needed to be treated. Apparently now they have this new photon treatment at Loma Linda, and he was one of the earliest patients. Thankfully, it seems to have cured him. I'm sure if they caught it early, Mr Wyman will be just fine. Cancer still sucks though.
