Seriously, Women who play a certain style of electric guitar have probably given some thoughts to the fact that the crowd looking at them (or for them on Youtube) will have an eye as as well as an ear for the "product". This comment does not apply to woman who put the songs first, (Bonnie, Joni). And maybe it doesn't apply at all because I'm completely beside the track. And for what it's worth one of my favorite female guitarists is Eva Cassidy and I'll make her electric because the condenser mic in front of her acoustic needs phantom power. Though the club doesn't often allow them in. Of course, there are the famous ones that have been mentioned. But I have run across a few on U2b that will likely never get considered. Would I care to listen to them as guitar players, no. I never said women couldn't play the guitar well, many can, very well.
