Members aeon
Abbey Road Everything about Abbey Road is perfect to me - songwriting, performances, production - to displace a single note would be to make it less. Also, there are so many moments on Abbey Road where the sonics blow my mind, both for the actual timbres and textures themselves, as well as the fact that said timbres and textures demonstrate a deep, musical intuition in terms of how they may support the emotional context of the song.I have been listening to Abbey Road for 30+ years now, and it is the definition of evergreen to me. In fact, it just gets better and better as time goes on."Maxwell's Silver Hammer" is also the most tenacious earworm I have ever known. Sometimes that melody is stuck in my head for days, and the thing is, I enjoy it being so.My pleasure in listening to Abbey Road is such that it brings tears to my eyes every single time. Revolver sure does turn my crank, though. Pun intended. cheers,Ian
