Members johnrambo
i've been GASing for a new acoustic recently and wanted to see what you guys play? i played a martin 000X1 (love the size) at lunch today and really liked it but i'm not sure about this new martin line (x-series). the backs and sides are some sort of laminate. it felt really good but i'm curious how this thing would age. What do you guys play?
Members Gremson
Dude, get a blueridge. You can see a good selection at www.maurysmusic.com and see what model compares to which Martin. They're really well made. I got the BR-163 after selling my Martin DXM. I'm really happy with mine.

Members Eye_Of_The_Liger
If you want a good guitar for not a lot of money, check out Art & Lutherie. I got an A&L Spruce a couple Christmases ago, just to get into playing more acoustic stuff. I'm mainly an electric player and I just wanted a decent guitar for not a lot of money. It does the job pretty well.

Members mueller
I have a Martin DM. It works great for me, but I'm not too particular about my acoustics as long as they're intonation is decent and they've got good strings.

Members homestar_kevin
Definetly try Sigma. I recently picked up a sigma in 000-18 body size, it's just japanese/korean made martins.... not as nice as 3000 dollar martins, but I'd happily put mine against the mart x series. it was 180 bucks too. I sold a US made guild for it.

It seems like sweat would make that guitar like fall apart hahahaha. and I think most of them can come in black?
