And thanks to the dirty pay-per-minute way, you can sift through quite a bit in a short time. However, I think "good" and "bad" porn is based more on the viewers relationship to the performers, their chemistry and the ability to capture money shots is way more important than dramatic and aesthetic concerns, obviously. AIR is indeed a fan of Francis Lai (Emmanuelle 2) score, but in no way did AIR rip-off any part of the Emmanuelle series whatsoever. Secondly, there were several 70's porn scores that featured strings (solina especially). Go back and watch Debbie Does Dallas. It's all over the place. They came to the category for best soundtrack, and played samples of the nominees. The first two nominees are typical cheesy jazz/funk arrangements. The third nominee was John Williams - the clip showed him conducting an orchestra, and the music was this bombastic symphonic segment from an adventure movie battle scene.
