Members scampi
it's the mogadon imo srsly though, they make such good use of f/x that I'm not sure how they do some of the things they do

Members JBecker
I don't think this song was ever played live... I'm pretty sure it's the pre-Porcupine Tree as a band day, but not 100%.
Members JBecker
Anyone have a clue? That track has some AWESOME very watery sounds going on that I don't have a clue how to produce.
Members Aaron SS
Glad to see some PT love in this place..... With that said im not quite sure of his setup during that era
Members DeadStar00
kinda off topic sorry, but seeing some Porcupine Tree fans here... what gear do you use to get their sound? im thinking of getting a PRS SE Custom but dont know about the pedals (i already know steven uses bad cat amps)
Members Aaron SS
PRS Singlecut SE > Way Huge Saffron Squeeze Compressor > TS9(and various other boosts swapped in and out) > Line 6 Roto Machine > Boss DD20 > Bad Cat Hot Cat 30 for me (im a huge fan boy as if you couldnt tell)

Members JBecker
I'm a huge fan of PTree, all eras. The beginning stuff is very hard to pin point sound wise becuase it was basically Steve Wilson surrounded by a {censored}load of equipment and {censored}ing with all of it. I don't even know what kind of effect that is.
Members Aaron SS
Ya with his dad being an Audio Engineer or whatever he had the opportunity to get his hands on some unique stuff and it shows. Early era was his esp strats though i know that much, very pink floydish
Members analogmike
awesome band!! I don't know much about Steve but I have been working with John Wesley for many years and got to bring him some pedals and see them last year, awesome concert. The band 3 was also playing with them and they are another of my favorites lately.

Members Jumbo Fuzz
I didn't care for the latest album, but PT is ace. Wilson did some great production work on Opeth's "non-heavy" album, Damnation.
Members ChaseA17
Over the last year Porcupine Tree has become one of my favorite bands. Their sound is so unique and amazing

Members Kalebmation
I did a cover of this song... the electric guitars are all Line 6 (in recent sw fashion...) www.myspace.com/collectingspace This was one of the first "band" PT songs... Steve says one of his biggest regrets was leaving it off of the original release of TSMS. Glad to see everybody talking about the band. This is one of my favorite songs ever. Hopefully my cover does it some sort of justice... it sounds empty without the drums/keys.

Members Assumer
There music and video just got me through a 9 hour plane flight without going crazy. Great stuff. I will have to say though, when I read the thread, I thought it was saying the star of PT died. Jet Lagged I guess cause I know the song.
