How many of today's indie bands are citing Joy Division, The Cure, The Smiths, blahblahblah.... as major influences? It'd also explain the resurgence in old-skool metal, Metallica Style, which merely by being here Metalhead Mike has demonstrated. If you give a {censored} about 'scenes' these days, it's more than likely you define yourself a indie kid (well, this side of the pond) or a Metalhead....Just an observation, and obviously one that doesn't apply to everything - I'm just looking at the statistics, here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
