Lost in Translation, The Life Aquatic

and great original soundtracks - Dan in Real Life (Sondre Lerche), I Heart Huckabees (Jon Brion), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Jon Brion).

great picks here mate :thu:
I really like Jon Brion soundtrack work!

I want to add, if no one mentioned yet:

-Clockwork Orange, (5x faster "William tell Overture"+moog+transgender composer=:thu:)
-BABEL, really like the soundscapes in that film!

ah philip glass...

i've never watched "The Hours," and each time i did, it was way too Lifetime-movie-ish for me, but his work on that OST is beautiful.

no Kiss 'music from the Elder?'

jkjk.

listened to that as a gag @ work one day, and it sparked the discussion of how many poor choices are made under the influence of cocaine.

Anyone know why at the end of most movies now, right when the credits come up they make the song go up in pitch a little then down a little, then back to normal? IDK if any of you noticed this, but most movies I've seen do that.

are you talking about in the theaters?

maybe a separate reel for credits? the differing increments of speed between different cameras synced @ the same point could cause that illusion of the movie on screen going all pitchy.
