Members NappyDugOut
It adds that extra sparkle and sustain that can't be measured............without it my TS-9 sounds great, with it my TS-9 sounds awesome...............I don't know(or care) why..it just does:thu:
Members Jules-RM
It's good for what I use it for. Nice with cleans and fuzz, picky about other dirt. I'd check out the Barber Tone Press as well, it has a blend knob for adding a bit of uncompressed signal to preserve attack.
Members Rocked Star
www.bonepickerguitaramps.com Check out the Tight Squeeze and the Bone Squeeze. Good stuff!
Members Headlow
Yep I would say its worth it. I leave mine on all the time, cos my rig just sounds better when its on. However I had equally pleasing results with the HBE Compressor Retro that was much cheaper than the Keeley
Members ambys
I'm in love with my Keeley comp. Just remember that it's super-powerful. My sustain knob is around 9 o'clock. Any higher and my signal loses too much dynamic range.
Members Tengo
I was considering one, but it is just SO MUCH MONEHS Went for a dyna comp instead, at 1/4 of the price
Members HeartfeltDawn
Keeley comp is good but there's better comps out there for less money. Cue my usual vote for the Diamond compressor.
Members modeerf
Love my dyna comp, but want a keeley because it's supposed to be ultra-quiet and audiophile grade. Dynacomp just adds too much noise.

Members MrNixon
back when i was first lookin for a comp, it was either the keeley or the analogman bicomp. i ended up getting a mini-bicomp - mainly just cuz it was two compressors. idk personally bout the Keeley (a lot of other people do tho), but the bi-comp was sick, esp. the Orange side. i love Ross type comps tho. the RMC FK1 was a supposed one-uppage of the Keeley musictoyz was blowin em out @ 80 bucks, that was sick, and after selling my mini bicomp, i totally dont regret buying an FK1 for 80. if you're lookin to spend dough and get something legit, check out the Telenordia as well... they're available stateside @ www.pedalgeek.com - the guy who runs that place is awesome, and always welcomes in-store visits, which never turn out to be dull. support him ASAP.
