Members NITEFLY182
This happens every time a new boss product comes out. Its someone selling essentially black market pedals out of the factory without authorization.

Members driverhasabomb
It would be cool to have if you own a studio but I can't see someone putting it on their board unless they make it an integral part of their 'sound'.

It's more of a novelty in my opinion.
Members SUPER VELCROBOY
the slicer is neat. It is sort of a tremolo the way it chops up your guitar signal.

It seems like a production tool, not stage tool. There are programs for real cheap that do everything it does and a lot more...
Members SUPER VELCROBOY
the thing that bothers me about the slicer is that it seems to take over your playing, like you're not really playing it....rather the slicer is really doing the playing and you are just there to input the signal for it. As an effect, that's kind of a weird departure from most traditional effects. It seems like you can't really make any mistake with it, which to me is too weird

Why else would it be a foot pedal?

I'll be interested to see what people do with them in demos and stuff. I can see them being cool to lay down a freaky, rhythmic loop...but for actual stage playing I feel like they would either dominate or have to be really turned back.
