Members chrisn12
I play alot of gigs with my band, mainly in small clubs. lugging my Vox AC30 CC2 around has just become to much. Can someone reccomend a smaller amp that will be alot lighter but still sound great?

Members chrisn12
AC15? I was thinking about that on. Do you know if it's a loud amp? Also quite interested in Fender amps, if anyone has any suggestions Cheers
Members messiah
Laney VC-15 or a Fender Blues Junior (I'd go with the BJ 1st).
Members onyxrhino
I saw somewhere on another forum where a guy was switching over from an AC-30 to a Laney VC-30 because of the weight issue.

Members theshoegazer
I was thinking about that on. Do you know if it's a loud amp? Also quite interested in Fender amps, if anyone has any suggestions Cheers the guitarist in my old band used one live. its definitely loud enough for a small venue/coffehouse/rehearsal. plus you could always mic it. surprisingly it has a lot of clean headroom as well and it take pedals well. Members orourke
Get a head/1x12 speaker rig. They're bulkier, but each piece is lighter to carry.

Members BgUnited
Well it's all up to you but why sacrifice your sound for convenience. I mean it's an AC30! But i'm sure you have good reasons. I'm dying for an AC30!
