Members Johnonon
Any love for this band? I was in the local record shop yesterday (Great store if you want to find some cheap used cd's or good indie) and found a Spacemen 3 album for 5 bucks. It was Performance Live at the Melkweg 6/2/88. So i bought this and Primus' Sailing the Seas of Cheese for 5 bucks and walked back to my dorm I pop the cd in my laptop, throw on my headphones, and turn on my visualizer. Oh My God this band rules. The guitar textures they get live are so awesome and their minimalist attitude works really well. I'm going back tomorrow to scrounge up some more shoegazer music and get a vinyl of The Fabulous T-Brids' Tuff Enuff for 4 bucks!
Members onyxrhino
Yeah Spacemen 3 were awesome. I've always loved the distortion sound on "Revolution" (plus, it's a great song).

Members Fender&EHX4ever
good one Another great thing about Spacemen 3 is that they have impeccable taste in gear http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1841860 ... and like all good gearheads should do, they list their gear in their album credits

I bet you are the only person in the history of music to purchase Spaceman 3, Primus, and the Fabulous Thunderbirds! I thought I liked a wide variety of music but you win. If you like shoegaze gotta check out Spiritualized (Ladies and Gentleman is a "must have"), and the early Verve stuff (A Storm in Heaven and the early EP's.)
