Here is what I had and the order of the chain: Gibson SG Crybaby Linear power booster (can't remember the make) MXR Distortion + Big Muff DOD 680 Analog Delay Various Fender Amps, but my best was a twin reverb. Didn't have it long I didn't think life would ever get any better. I was probably right.

I got it used in 1975 or 1976 and it was a few years old when I got it. So probably a 1973 model. I was in to Frank Marino and Black Sabbath so I wanted to look the part. I sold it and all the rest of my gear in 1984 when I was down on my luck and in need of cash. But that part of my life is long behind me.

Members Fender&EHX4ever
Best I can do... Needs a delay but I have none:cry: Sweet selection. What do you think of the Zipper? Like most of my vintage EHX, I find that it works best for me with single coils.
Members octoberdistrict
I love the zipper to bits, its just never an effect i have much use for everyday so it tends to get left on the shelf a lot. I do agree that single coils sound better through it, but as far as other vintage EHX goes, humbuckers through a cranked vintage muff are unbeatable IMHO
Members houseofglass21
Cool, you have a 'Storm' pedal. Never seen one. Robert Smith said he used a Storm Distortion pedal in the early days of the Cure. Guess they were MXR clones like Ross.
Members octoberdistrict
There's an interview with him on the web somewhere and he says he used the storm distortion and overdrive. I have the distortion 10 too and it is hands down the best distortion pedal i own. Only thing is the bypass is terrible and i can't force myself to tear it apart to fit a new switch! They are visual clones of the mxr boxes but sound completely different. The overdrive is also the only pedal I have ever seen that takes an AA battery.
