Members CicadaSilence
I can find like, one cap with the value I need at Radioshack, and Small Bear doesn't make any {censored}ing sense to me. They don't carry nf or uf caps? What? Where else can I buy capacitors at decent piecemeal prices?

Members dap99
prices aren't so great for small quantities. True dat. Which ones do you buy from Small Bear? I can't tell which are the boxed metal film ones. Also, in general, what's your preferred cap? To the OP, make sure you're paying attention to the Volts of the cap. You do not want to accidentally order ones that are too high - they're quite big. Anyone wanna buy an assortment of 630V caps

I'm building a ZVex Mammoth clone, and I'm sure the caps aren't the size of my thumb. I'm having serious problems finding a low voltage, 100uf cap... Members tape
wouldnt reccomend mouser for the OP, their site is confusign as hell for begginers. smallbear is good, but they have their cap values differently. http://www.justradios.com/uFnFpF.html or post whats written on the cap, and whether or not its an electrolytic (tall cyllinder) or other type, and I will link you to the exact smallbear page you need. Members cdawzrd
100mF is actually kinda large. That's gonna be an electrolytic. Tape, smallbear's cap values aren't different, they just use "mF" for microfarads instead of "uF" which uses the u to stand for mu.

The website is really cumbersome and takes some time to get comfortable w/ it. I would recommend getting their catalog, though. Lotsa pictures/diagrams. Helps w/ the website. but Small Bear is easier - just make sure you do your own inventory of what you get. They have a pretty high screw-up rate. But Steve is good w/ doing right by his customers!
