Members CicadaSilence
Getting back into emulators/ROMs, and I wanted to try out some SNES games I never got a chance to play the first time around. I loved Final Fantasy II(IV), Final Fantasy II(VI), Chrono Trigger, Earthworm Jim, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Ogre Battle, Out of This World, Mega Man X, and probably a bunch more that I'm forgetting. What games really rocked your socks a couple/ten years back?

Members Collapse
F-Zero is a great little racer.Zelda 3 is so good it renders virtually every other Zelda game worthless.Killer Instinct was a pretty unique fighter in it's day.Star Ocean and Earthbound are right up there with FFIII and Chrono Trigger. THere's this game, I can't remember the name of it right now, but you can choose between 2 characters. One's like this blodne guy with an assault rifle, the other is this guy with a gasmask/dual pistol setup with a trenchcoat, and you blast mutants, and it was kinda gory (for a SNES game it was quite).. The game was hard as {censored}, but fun as all hell.

Members whoismilan
Ones once I consider to be both good and unique enough to play still today are Mario 3, all Final Fantasy games, and Chrono Trigger. Sometimes I feel like the only person who like gaming but has never gotten into the Zelda games.

My head asplode. Zelda was like religion to me in my preteen years. I still consider the original 8 bit Zelda to be the best game of all time. Members MacBradley
Everything mentioned has been the right answer so far. I'll add that hockey games were great during SNES days. One's I feel obligated to 2nd that you haven't played: - Super Mario World (duh) - Zelda: A Link To The Past (Everything Ocarina did this did first. Best Zelda IMO) - F-Zero (Great hover-jet racing game) - Top Gear 2 (great fun racing game with lots of car mods for it's day) I'd like to add one as well: - Super Mario All-Stars (has Mario 1, 2, lost levels, 3, and all have much better graphics than the NES counter-parts)
Members freetime
dunno about snes but for genesis Streets of rage 2 & 3 Sonic series bomberman Shining Force, best mo{censored}en rpg there ever was. U could get all kinds of cool characters or if u f'ed up and didn't do all the tasks u missed them. If they simply redid the graphics I'd take it over any FF game. U guys know if there's a Saturn emulator? I really want to play the Shining Force 2 but Saturns are hard to come by and so are the games
