Members dyroot
Hey, Im looking at picking up a new distortion pedal this Christmas. I only play a few bands, mainly Rage Against The Machine. I was looking at the Boss DS-1. Would that be a good pedal for that type of sound? Thanks
Members onyxrhino
Hey, Im looking at picking up a new distortion pedal this Christmas. I only play a few bands, mainly Rage Against The Machine. I was looking at the Boss DS-1. Would that be a good pedal for that type of sound? Thanks Hello Mr. Morello! Glad you could join us. I'd hardly call that Audioslave thing a "band". But if you want to go around saying that you play in a "few bands" to impress chicks, I'm not going to argue with you, just as long as you only name drop RATM. Glad to see you've recognized that you need our help with your distortion choices. While the DS-1 is supposed to try for those Marshall-y tones you might be accustomed to, it's actually only $40, so we both know that means it's no good. If you want us to respect you, you need to get a Skreddy Mayo and push it with a Klon. Then you'll finally be a legit guitar player like us. I'm just {censored}ing around with ya (it's late). Seriously, you might want to look into a RAT instead. Spraypaint an "M" after the logo, and you're all set.
