Members turnitto11 Posted April 16, 2009 Members Share Posted April 16, 2009 My epiphone valve junior combo (correctly biased) sounds pretty good, got it brand new for $100. Gonna mod it more though and see what I can get out of it. Tried an AD-5 once. Didn't like it. Felt like the speaker was distorting at higher volumes or something. Kinda sounded square wave-ish and had no headroom. Started breaking up at 9 o'clock. I would like to try a blackheart and that new vox sometime.
