So I want to build a trini lopez style 335... where can i get the body from?

Your best bet would be to look at old Japanese bolt-on semi-acoustics from the 60's. One of these sold recently:

Find a decent 335 with a bolt-on neck, unscrew and then consider either going with a bolt-on or finding a luthier who could glue you in a neck.

yeah, the problem with this is most 335's are set necks.

wasburn delta king [i think] was $100 ish new, and a bolt on... just get a good drill as the hole might not match and keep the neck receipt if it is just too big/small for the pocket

I know Lyle Guitars made a pretty cool copy of those, with a fairly nice quality body - they aren't TOO uncommon either. Look into it
