Members Musickbox
I hate those amps. They're okay. They have a good tone, but too fizzy and bussy for my taste. Personally I'm a big fan of the 800 series in comparison. But I also don't use a lot of gain my amps. They used to be dirt cheap and regain some popularity when the whole emo (bands like Thursday) music scene came about.
Members Parah Salin
Too 'fizzy and bussy'? Turn it up foo'. The 800 is fizzy and bussy at low volumes too. Marshalls are meant to be cranked.
Members MoreGuitars
I have (2) dual reverb 50 watts. I don't play them much any more, but I brought one out a few weeks ago when my DSL needed some service. I really forgot how much I disliked the tone. I thought the lead sound was workable, but the rhythm was pretty fizzy. I would like to get them modded if possible, otherwise, I'm selling them. I would love to trade them for DSL's.
