Not bad, but it's not blowing my mind.

Members Gomez_69
You're nuts if you say no good music came out this year by the way.. +1. I absolutely cringe at the epic fail when people say there are no good records coming out anymore. Even for the more conservative rock fans, how can you not recognize the awesomeness of Dead Weather or Them Crooked Vultures, for example? Oh well. Top 10 (not sure if I posted already) - no particular order. Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavillion Fever Ray Baroness - Blue Album Mastodon - Crack the Skye Boston Spaceships (2 records out this year)- Zero to 99; The Planets are Blasted The Dead Weather Them Crooked Vultures Flaming Lips - Embryonic

Even for the more conservative rock fans, how can you not recognize the awesomeness of Dead Weather or Them Crooked Vultures, for example? Dead Weather is an exception because Jack White is the artist of the decade. I just listened to TCV for the first time tonight. I'll have to listen again, but it's not really my taste - and I like dark dance rock stuff. As you said, oh well.

Members iMpreno
Them Crooked Vultures kinda disappointed me.There's no dirt, no rust, it's just pristine. It's like the sound of pop corn popping in the microwave oven compared to the roar of {censored}ing napalm exploding in the middle of Mojave Desert (which can be, dunno, like QOTSA's Songs for The Deaf?). For me that reflects perfectly the Queens Of The Stone Age vibe since Lullabies to Paralyze.

Members int.parascope
I like "New Terrain." I need to spend more time with this album. It's more to my tastes. The album only gets better from there. No More Stories is "dancier" to put it one way than their other stuff, but they pull it off extremely well, it's become my favorite of all their albums.
