His band The Reatards played a lot around the area in the late 90's and early 2000's.When he released Blood Visions as a solo record a few years ago, he started getting attention from mags like Rolling Stone and the like, and was signed to Matador.There's a lot of hard working musicians in Memphis, in all genres.
