So how are we all handling the noise from our tape echos??

I have one of these. They sound really cool but I haven't played mine in years. Probably the new tape should help with the noise problem. Might be worth cleaning the tape reading heads with some suitable cleaning solution.


Edit: sorry didn't read OP properly, already clean heads ...self

hopefully that sorts it

can anyone suggest a footswitch for this?

RE201 doesn't make any noise i've noticed, is the noise coming from the actual tape being processed or is it just background buzz



it's a little noisy with the echos off(the pre-amp is still active),but it's not too bad

the problem is really when you switch on the echos
also it was erasing fine but last night I was messing around moving the tension arm while playing to get warping type sounds and after that the notes weren't being fully erased :confused:
