Members johnkline
I have a mish-mash of assorted cables in my pedalboard, different type guitar cables from guitar to board and board to amp. So I was thinking of cleaning up my board with some custom length wiring and it made me wonder what your thoughts are on running the same type of wire from start to finish, at least for consistency sake.... What's your thoughts on using different brand wiring throughout the whole chain?

Members english_bob
TGP'd.I doubt there's really very much difference. As long as it's decent cable, you're all good.Just make sure you get the polarity right
Members hooya
chain as strong as the weakest link blah blah blah. In the end a single pedal with a buffer will most likely remove any problems with any high capacitance cable. Not that you're really noticing the differences from one brand of cable to another anyway under 99.9% of circumstances (100% of live performances)

Members AnderMocs
Just use decent cable. It doesn't matter if its a mishmash. As long as it had decent shielding its not a big deal.

The coat hanger wire was better...

Members hot_karl
as long as they're consistently good quality cables, brand is irrelevant, well SAME brand, obviously the brand is relevant to quality.... que?
