Members cvogue
Like on Sun King by the Beatles on Abbey Road and on Heart's Barracuda as well. I've heard it's a combo of flanger and chorus... true?

Phil O'Keefe
Yup - Sun King is a Leslie rotating speaker - specifically, a Model 122. Barracuda is a flanger. I'm not sure which one they used.

I'm not sure which one they used. barracuda was done with a custom rack mount flanger, 3 of those were built for Heart by an audio tech.Toadworks has made a "barracuda" flanger that allegedly captures that sound.also.....Boss Hi-Band Flanger does a great job getting that tone.electric mistress by EHX gets a nice watery tone univibe reminds me of water more than others..... That sounds like more than a flanger and definitely not with the same settings as the opening.
