Members erksin
If you've found a Gem IV over there, I would seriously consider it if it's under $700/US in good condition. www.fliptops.netRead up, Gae!

Members companyman
reissues are not {censored}, the build quality is not nearly what the old ones were, but they sound good to me! I have a reissue Superjet with reverb and tremolo and I really like it, after having some resistor issues straightened out by a tech. I used to own a late 50's Reverb Rocket and it was a great amp, just huge sounding and deep lush reverb, alas I had to sell when I moved from NY. Members erksin
the gem is a VI not a IV. So the reissue are {censored}?What should I read in that site? Sorry - I typo'd, it is a VI. Basically a single channel Gemini II - 15" speaker, reverb and tremolo. They're killer amps. The reissues don't sound like the originals - they use different tubes for one, and aren't voiced the same as the vintage models. This is a fairly accurate example of the mid '60s small combo Ampeg sound (Jets, Rockets, Reverberockets, Mercurys) - the audio quality isn't the best, but whatev: I haven't looked at that site in awhile - looks like they scrapped a bunch of content since I was there last. I'll see what else I can find for you.
