Members ZeppelinPie792
Does anyone have a website that you can add bands you listen to and get notifications of when they are coming, or anything like that?
Members RadioSilence
myspace/facebook/twitter that's how i usually find out about shows. or sign up to the mailing list on the band's site.
Members RadioSilence
but that's a good idea for a site; you enter the bands you like and how far you're willing to travel, the bands enter their tour dates and you get an email when a band you like is playing near you
Members ZeppelinPie792
It can be a pain in the ass to always have to check each individual band or venue's website. Surely there must be an easier way.

Members melx
I find out about most gigs from ticket agency emails these days.. when I buy tickets online I tick the box! ... I get a couple every month from ticketmaster, gigantic etc... and a lot of the time they mention gigs that aren't advertisted anywhere else yet. Members melx
... I also check ATP every week or so because they seem to put on a lot of gigs I might be interested in, that's how I found out about Mudhoney.
Members fever606
Good one, melx. Lots of venues also have mailing lists, they will let you know what shows are coming up and lots of times you get first crack at tickets or preorder codes.
