Members deluxe74
My EHX Memory Toy doesn't turn on when I engage it. The LED lights up but I don't get any delay. Has anyone had this problem with this effect or other effects? Solutions perhaps?
Members Alt-me
Yep, the bypass has died. Best send it back to the store/EHX, you won't be able to fix it as they have SMD components.
Members RoboPimp
what power supply are you using? My 616 had these exact same symptoms, it turns out the power supply was going bad.
Members THAT4301
Could be a power issue, or a dead switch The switch arrangement is a PITA to fix yourself
Members deluxe74
I'm using the power from my Furman board. I tried the same power cable on a different pedal and it worked just fine. Hmmm... I think I'll send it in. Thanks!

Members RoboPimp
I've never had a 3PDT switch go bad and it's not too bad to replace the one on the memory boy

Members THAT4301
A year, and internationals such as ourselves have to pay shipping in both directions (whatever it costs you to get it there and $25 to get it back)

Members cratz2
When I got mine, it didn't engage either. Took it apart to see what I could see and there's a little sub board that attaches to the main board and that board wasn't fully seated. I googled around and saw a few other references to this happening. I'd give it a try... Just be careful as the pins are very small if you aren't used to dealing with such things. Just be careful, take your time, don't force anything and maybe you can fix it.

Another issue could be with the power, because mine will only accept a regulated supply (circuit stuff blah blah... it's so you don't fry the components). Check those things before you send it off, as it's much less hassle and you could be back to playing in 5 minutes if either of these are the issue.
