Members drxcm
$600 off (20%)- makes it around $3000.. I'm betting a V-synth GT - clocking in at $2995 on their website right now. BUSTED!

Members drxcm
An A6 for a man that hates analog? Hmmm.. At this stage nothing would surprise me BUT, my second guess is Virus!
Members dereksljuka
DLP, how come you never buy anything secondhand? There's a lot of legendary-awesome gear you're passing over.
Members carbon111
Indeed. A Kawai K5000S might be the perfect match for DLP...it does have a great keybed.... Most of my gear is bought 2nd hand. ...then again...Maybe he got a brand-new Waldorf Q...if so, it'll be too fizzy and digital sounding and he won't like it
Members ElectricPuppy
I've heard that programming the K5000's is a whole 'nother kettle of fish. I'd bet DLP would get turned off in a heartbeat. In other news: The thread amuses me. Please continue.

Maybe I'll pull a Gleeman Pentaphonic from there next...he could have fun with it for 12.8 minutes before deciding that five grand was too much for such a dinky keyboard and sell it for 60% of its worth... Don't mind me, I'm bizarre. Cheers!
Members ElectricPuppy
If it's coming from your ass, it could be a dozen mini moogs and I'd still think long and hard about it. :poke:

Members Delicious Lamprey Problem
Ooops, I thought I already did, with the picture! It's an A6. Gotta give analog another go.
Members drxcm
Ah my Greek Mythology is a bit rusty Congrats - the A6 is SWEET. Interface is a bit different but its totally fine once you get used to it. Get a memory card and start making patches. The ribbon controller is especially cool (I really want a ribbon for the PC3x too, but it seems they're not quite ready yet) Hmm oh well, so much for WENK WENK.. Members Delicious Lamprey Problem
Cheers. I've been listening to lots of demos and it does sound excellent - I just had to overcome my analog fear to give something non-digital the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure raffor will kick my ass here tomorrow.
Members carbon111
This is what I miss in the middle of the night? Go to bed! What, when there's still time for one more wee dram o' Lagavulin? Never!Actually, I'm interested to see how you get on with the A6. One of my best friends has one and absolutely loves it. Though I love analog, personally I didn't like it...less than the Prophet '08 even. Hopefully YMMV...

Hopefully you'll find the impact the same as I did, a total non-issue.The presets suck as a general rule, but there are a few stunners in there.Andromeda consistently makes me go
