Members fetch Posted October 8, 2011 Members Share Posted October 8, 2011 Pedals like the Timmy and KOT is what I consider 'transparent OD' and it's not for everyone/every setup. But if that's what you're after then you'd be hard pressed to beat a Timmy for the price they go for new. Buy a used one and sell it when your new ones ready; that's what a lot of people seem to do. I do not consider the Pork Lion or whatever tubescreamer clone to EVER be called "transparent". I think the RAT is more of a transparent OD than a TS-circuit will ever be.
