Aretha Franklin is playing one of my favorite venues tonight, right by my home and I can't go. I hate to miss a legend when they're in town but gotta save up for bills and some time off work but, still.. ugh not sure if any of you guys like Aretha but she's definitely a legend. So I'm an idiot btw, Aretha is coming but it's not tonight, the same friends are going to her another night. Tonight i'm missing Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. I've seen them twice before and am a big fan. Not a show I'd miss if I could help it either. Slightly less disappointed though (for now until it's the actual day of the Aretha show). damn you money!
