Members Sunsetcarcrash Posted July 3, 2012 Members Share Posted July 3, 2012 I just decided to downsize (In wattage only) to a 15 watt amp a couple weeks ago... The 50 watt Bassman just has a little too much headroom for me to be getting what I want out of it. My Winfield Cyclone is supposed to arrive tomorrow, but the one I have played was just enough volume to remain clean, but still sound like its really cooking in there. All my favorite guitar tones come from low wattage amps ie: Jeff Tweedy (AC15 heads), Ryan Adams (Princetons), Neil Young (Tweed Deluxes).
