Because I do. Boggles my mind and makes me want to smoke cigarettes and chase questionable french girls around a cobble stone street.

Post vids and stuff.

Angelo Debarre and Ludovico Beier are my favorite duo. Their album Come Into My Swing is a constant source of inspiration for me.

Also, this video is ridiculous, and impressive. 2:40, Thor shreds that purple disaster to pieces with some out of the box fusion licks that fit better than they seemingly should. Then the counterpoint part at 4:20 is pretty cool too.

Ever seen the Woody Allen film 'Sweet and Lowdown'? It's chock full of great gypsy/swing jazz. The soundtrack's by Howard Alden (who gave Sean Penn some guitar lessons and is the sound of Penn's character) and Bucky Pizzarelli.

The film inspired me to start on the guitar.

Plus let's have some Frank and Bucky (love Bucky!)
