I use Facebook for contests and communication with a few friends and family that would still be using AOL if they could. HCFX is unique. It is the most interesting general interest forum I have found, even if it skews toward music and gear. It's a forum almost entirely dedicated to modular synthesis. There's an SKS forum I go to on occasion and a WWII forum I go to on occasion as well. It's been a while, though.
