Members grumphh
so did my acoustic instruments(melodica and piano) count? No - and for a guy who calls himself "gearaholic" you are quite the disappointment in this thread ...

Members soundwave106
OK, I'll add on. Obviously this doesn't include VSTs; if we all included VSTs, I imagine this community will be well on its way to the OVER 9000!!! mark. Members gearaholic79
No, SYNTHS only. No pianos, no rhodes, no clavinet, no wurly, no harpsichords, clavichords, melodicas etc. They make only one sound. They are not synths. Hammond on the other hand is a synth in a way, using additive synthesis to create sound. Drum machines which have subtractive synthesis also count (they need to have at least a filter). +1 for the mpc2000xl it has a filter 1202
Members ClavAnother
Hammond on the other hand is a synth in a way, using additive synthesis to create sound. well {censored}...+1 again 1202 + 1 = 1203

Members Swami Digital
Sadly, I sold a bunch of synths, so to keep this count accurate: 1296 - 5 = 1291
Members synthguru
I used to have lots and lots more but have slimmed my rig down to five synths. It is far more ergonomic now and I can reach all of them at once So... 5 + 1291 brings us back up to....1296.
