Members 1001gear
Boss marketed one. Control consisted of placing foot on pedal. Worked pretty well too. Aparently electronic feedback sounds the same as acoustic feedback.
Members Mr.Grumpy
Yeah, BOSS made one, and Fender makes one now:http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Runaway/If you have the luxury of being able to play LOUD, you don't need this. Just a distortion pedal, and some type of pedal in front of it to send the gain to the moon. (as in: very high gain). I've used both a pedal compressor and an overdrive (tube screamer) to fill this role, I'm sure a (flat) boost pedal would work too. With the TS, I would keep the gain/drive control fairly low, but run the volume at maximum, or nearly so, and then turn the tone down to 9 or 10 o'clock to keep the screechy treble from building up. What you want to feedback are howly lower mid tones, and not so much the super squeely treble. An amp stand helps too if you don't play through a stack, you'll probably have to face the speakers unless you have truly face-melting volume available. Semi-hollow guitars like ES-335s feed back much more easily than a solid body guitar.
