Thanks for the compliments!

Set up was my Ibanez SZ720 (stock) into a POD XT via USB to Audicy.

I can't take credit for the tone, its just a very slightly modified version of Rob Tognoni 'Maxed Plexi' patch (http://www.robtognoni.com/line6.htm). Rob has some killer tones there, be sure to check them out.

First half of the take is on the neck pu of the SZ, the remaining on the bridge pu.

The take is sloppy on the faster part (half way through), the brain was moving faster then my fingers could handle, but they will eventually catch up. :) I stopped playing when I was 20 (12 years ago), and just got back into it 2 months ago. So this take is the result of being back to playing for 2 months. I almost did not post it, but the BT was just soo nice, i had to!

Thanks again for the kind comments, its encouraging.

All around excellent and inspirational playing, i have all of the takes in my iPod and have been listening to them.

Now that track screams "FLEXIIIIIIIIIII" but I've used the Uber just for fun :)

It is my Suhr Classic --> Roger Mayer Voodoo1 (as a clean boost) --> RMC Picture wah --> Mojo Vibe --> Bogner Uberschall --> THD Hotplate --> THD 2x12 (SM57 on V30)

This is lots of notes and REALLY sloppy guys, I swear!!!! :D

Hot damn!!! That's the stuff!

One thing: Why the extreme panning of the dry signal and reverb? It gives a cool effect, but maybe a bit too extreme? I don't know.

The playing is just sick. Yours and Anton's are my favourites on this jam.

PS: I need a vibe ;)

Thanks! Well, that is something that one of my favorite guitarists does very often (Mike Landau!!!!) It is extreme but I am in that mood these days! :) Thanks for checking it my friend and go grab a Mojo Vibe, you won't regret it!

I might just do that. I've been gassing for a vibe for a long time on and off (every time I hear clips;)) since the one on the Pod sucks...

$269.95 at musictoyz... Ouch!

Myron Stratis - sick playing!!! Very nice take... From the smooth parts at the beginning to the wildest at the end. Loved it

Rotren - Nice phrasing... Cool tone from the pickup switching in the middle. Digged the "added" rhythm chords. Very cool soloing.

jaysee - Very good take and good tone too.

Gosh! I don't know how you can be so edgy and never fall off. That rocked. Just amazing. Definately nothing was lost with the new amp. :D

I used my SX Strat and my Splawn Pro-Stock with a repaired
octavia stomp box I got for 3.50 at a garage sale.
Click on SLOWFUNK below.

Bet NOBODY here uses their Splawn for this! LOL

Some REALLY good takes here and ofcourse kudos to REDANT
for another quality backing. AND yes I know this thread is a bit old
:p
