Members Purplexi
Because previous to the Tonebone amp switcher there was no such unit on the market, you had to A B between amp stacks or combos that were already running their own cabs or spkrs. If you wanted to switch heads independantly into one favored cab you were {censored} out of luck. There were other ways to go like having Bob Bradshaw or Pete Cornick incorporate such a function into an already complicated and expensive midi rig.All in all for the money it's a fair deal but if you can figure a way to do it cheaper(home made load box etc.)do let us know. Members DeathMonkey
I have a Voodoo Labs Amp Selector that has two ins, four outs, volume adjusters, and 4 DIP switches for polarity and a buffering amp, and its fabulous. I have done the DIY of running into various stereo pedals and all that crap, but nothing comes close to a well designed amp splitter. I have heard nothing but good things about the Radial as well. I think VHT makes a one in eight out splitter too.
