Members Eye_Of_The_Liger
I've got an Ampeg Reverbrocket reissue. I've had this problem for a while, and it comes and goes, depending on where I play through it. I was thinking that an Ebtech HumX adapter would help, since I'm getting some pretty bad 60 Hz hum along with the RF as well, but lately I'm not so sure... Members Guttermouth
you've probably got a loose ground in the amp (more than likely between the input and first tube somewhere).
Members soc_monki
no matter what amp ive used, when the gain channel is on it can become a beacon for radio signals! why? because amps can pickup and transmit interference, like any other electrical device. hell, some people say Pods arent that much like a real amp...wanna bet? when i use the 5150 model and i stop playing, christian stations fade in and out no lie LOL its quite funny to hear actually try moving the amp around to a different spot and see if that helps

Members Pepi
check and see if your have a resistor voltage divider on your input to the first preamp tube (V1). This is use to prevent this problem.
Members DoubleBarrel
Sounds to me like it's your guitar. Make sure your pickups are "sheilded" especially if they are single coils. Maybe you need to put some tinfoil in the cavity.

I hear the RF even with my guitar unplugged or with its volume turned down all the way.
Members Ronzo II
Try taking a square of ordinary aluminum foil and plugging into your amp THROUGH the foil, so that the foil square is sandwiched between the plug and the input jack. The foil acts as an antenna for the RF signal and bleeds it to ground before the signal enters the amp's chassis. Old trick from playing clubs in NYC. Another solution is ferrite beads on the wire from the input jack to the first gain stage, inside the amp.
Members starsnuffer
It's not your amp. It's that thing they put in your head when they took you up and probed you the other day. You know. The day you woke up with your ass all sore and burning? Well that wasn't the day, that was just me visiting. But the time before that, that was them. Get an x-ray, you'll see what I mean. Members n0fx
How close are you to radio towers ? Because if they are right around the corner or a mile or so away you probably wont be getting rid of it. Good luck though.
Members ScreaminSaint
Just play the same songs that the radio is playing. Nickleback isn't that hard.
Members MilkNCereal
Hey I have the problem too. The only thing that helped was moving it around and changing my guitar cable. Sometimes if the radio is on a good day, I'll play a long with some classic rock. Maybe my strat isn't helping with the radio interference.
