Members xbryanx
i would have to say the sleeping - questions and answers or moneen - the red tree. i listened the crap out of both of those albums. worst album of the year? saosin. hands down. what a peice of {censored} after all that anticipation. album im looking forward to the most in 2007 - the new bayside album. very unfortunate that beatz died, but the new drummer sounds pretty awesome. whats everyone elses picks? Members bob the dentist
+1 on the new Saosin being {censored}. They even somehow ruined "Bury Your Head," a kickass {censored}ing song, by slowing it down and adding lameass vocal effects. I was so looking forward to that CD too. Anyways, there were a lotta great albums this year. For metal, Mastodon was for sure the best, with Lamb of God and Unearth coming close, respectively. As far as everything else, Underoath, Protest the Hero, and Thursday, in that order. And if I'm honest, I'll go ahead and say that the new Norma Jean and MCR really surprised me, in a good way. Members Kill_the_Son
This may seem like a bit of a shock coming form me but... Boris/Sunn O))) - Altar This album is impeccable. I was waiting for this collaboration since I first heard about it and it delivered on everything and more.
Members The*Ataris
Muse's "Black Holes and Revelations" is at the top of my list--really unexpected... Oh, or maybe The Silversun Pickups' "Carnavas" too...

But anyway, I'm gonna have to go with Converge-No Heroes.
Members STRAT TOOL
this is going to sound weird cause I like heavy rock but Deathcab for Cutie was a cool CD to me because it was different as hell. Members blargh
I hate 2006 The only albums I can think of that I liked this year is the new Mastadon, Jesu's Silver EP (not sure it's 2006), the new Muse, and "Writer's Block" by Peter, Bjorn, and John.
