Members ekeys
Let's have a countdown for the 50th anniversary. That's when a super synth called the Juno-GI50-supersaw-srx-plus, will be released.

Hey, I just invented something, Ocarina with a vocoder that would be rad. Being Roland, it would have to incorporate a D-Beam! And they still won't bring back the 303 or Jupiter 8. Members DesolationBlvd
^ I'm surprised that the D-Beam hasn't made it onto any of the guitar-related stuff at this rate.

Huh, yeah, you are right! It's prob because Fender (or whoever makes the guitars) told Roland that guitarists don't want to look like dorks. Members FunkyLaptop
Hm, if the D-Beam were pointed down the fretboard, that would be interesting. Harder to notice too.
Members Mediterranean
"On Apr. 18, 1972, Ikutaro Kakehashi established Roland Corporation in Osaka with just a handful of dedicated employees." HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROLAND!!!
Members Mediterranean
Today I was looking through my old cassette tapes to see if there's anything worth digitizing. I found this little excerpt. It was done on the first Roland I ever laid hands on. Sequenced on the Alesis MMT-8. Can you guess what synth it was? hehehehe:D This is for you, Roland! Enjoy your birthday and thanks for everything! http://soundcloud.com/medite/happy-40th-birthday-roland
Members Mediterranean
I found another one, from the same synth [drums from another synth though, a BOSS module]. Maybe this will help you get closer to the answer:) http://soundcloud.com/medite/discovery

Members Dr.Wu
Actually there is a D-Beam on the VG-99.Great for filtersweeps or divebombs controlled by moving the guitarneck thru the beam or to engage the freezemode to loop a chord! Members Dr.Wu
To think that Mr.K started this company in his early 40s is pretty amazing to me!
