I have an F-50 now, which is pretty close to the Mark sound, though not nearly as tweaky. Probably going to pull the trigger on the Silhouette in the next week or so. Like, if you could start all over, or had a reasonable chunk of money because bills weren't eating your income for a few weeks, what would you have? Also assume you're gigging with a great band in your favorite style, but not really making it further than just medium venue local gigs. I'd like to have: Tobacco Burst G&L Legacy w/ Fralin Blues Specials 3-tone burst semi-hollow G&L Bluesboy Dr. Z Mazerati + Avatar G12H/Greenback 2x12 Fender '59 Bassman LTD And a few effects, namely: A/B/Y switch, Analogman Ge fuzz, true-bypass ts808, EH DMM, Small Stone, Teese picture wah, and peterson I'd say the tele and the Bassman are optional pleasantries that I would thoroughly enjoy. I'd probably be playing jazz/blues/rock/psychedelic/experimental like Radiohead and Buddy Guy had a lovechild but Hendrix and Pink Floyd needed to take paternity tests too. So how about you? I don't know if it would be my dream rig, but I tell you what I'd love to try: Guitars:I'd keep my USA Hamers: Mirage (modded w/ full 'bucker in the bridge) & StudioAmp: I'd love to try a Marshall Plexi reissue (50, w/ fx loop), modded w/ PPIMVCab: I'd keep my Avatar 2x12 with Celestion GreenbacksPedals to try: Analog Man Sun Face fuzz; Keeley Katana boost; MI Audio Tube ZonePedals I'd keep: Red Witch Moon Phaser; MXR Flanger; Sweetsound Mojovibe; Fulltone Choralflange; Analog Man modded DMM; MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe; DOD preamp 250 reissue.Basically, I've been jonesing to see if a fuzz pedal/Plexi based rig would be my ideal setup. All that said, I already seriously dig my two Trace Elliot amps. The Speed Twin 50 head (which I run triode, so it's about 25 watts, actually) through the Greenbacks with the pedals I already have is an amp I've kept coming back to & falling in love with again & again since I got it.
