Rammstein learned heavy from the god of metal...............................

2wo Voyeurs was a very cool album, John 5 is the guitarist. Worth a listen.

This would be so damn cool if the guitar tone sounded like...you know, something not terrible.

 

 

Raunchy, nasty guitar tones are a big part of Nine Inch Nails, though. I've never heard anything resembling traditional "good tone" on a NIN record. I'd say having the opposite is part of the point.

Reznor at Woodstock was epic for so many reasons, he was becoming huge but so little was known about him plus he was at his most pissed off.
