just a clean sparkly guitar sound and then a reverb, a delay and some fuzzy/overdriving sound kinda little big muff or RAT.

 

That'll do the job and use a single coil although that's not a must. Clean bits are often played through the neck pickup or the middle switch position.

warplane just recommends the same very cool amps for everything no matter what the application.


All of those things would work, but all are way overkill compared to what the guys playing post-rock use.

 

 

hardly. i wouldn't recommend a matchless dc30 or a hotcat for some guy wanting to play metal.

 

for anything from clean to mid-gain the amps i listed are what i would have, in a perfect world.
