It' basically a special run '52 that has a thinner finish, 9.5 radius, taller frets and custom shop pickups specially made for the Thinskins. Plus, it is customised for me (faceplate, footswitch) The Tokai: My first 'real' guitar. It plays how I want, and I carried it through all my bands and did all my recordings with it. It's a quality instrument that I've owned from new. Had the opportunity to do that - would prob never buy a brand new expensive guitar again. I'll keep both for life unless they are stolen or I snap the headstock off the LP! I've bought and sold loads of other guitars and amps, but these are keepers.
