Members Sardocasm
No, I'm serious. I don't see the appeal of rack gear. Racks offer tonal options that only a multiple amp setup could offer. That and you have your amp, tuner, effects, etc all together. No appeal? Did you think about it for even a single second? Members petejt
No, I'm serious. I don't see the appeal of rack gear. Ask Zachman. Seriously, rack gear is appealing because you can have a whole bunch of stuff all secure and in one package that can be lugged around all over the place, and it's quite easy to set up- basically just plug in and play. It is a bit heavy to transport, but at least it's all secure.
Members Blackwater
No, I'm serious. I don't see the appeal of rack gear. Because you can find an amp you love and play with preamps etc There are so many reason, plus so many bands have racks for live shows....especially big bands

Members wanky
gear doesn't die, it only breaks down and it can be fixed in most cases +1 i love my digitech rack effect processor, most digitech product have a short life, but the fact this one has survived since the early 90s means its must be one of the better things they've made it sounds really trippy, i don't use effects much, only when im high and on the clean channel, but its a trip and sounds decent
