What we have here is an obvious multiverse paradox... He was canned in voltaire's parallel reality but not in this one, so I'm willing to bet he doesn't even exist anymore.

I SWEAR I read a thread by him a month ago or so saying that he was fired.

I thought he had said that he got fired?

or maybe this was before he got canned.

I have to find that thread for myself, because I KNOW I read something.

the storytellers premiered on vh1 tonight.

it wasnt live and obviously was taped a few days/weeks ago though so he may not be doing that anymore.

his myspace still says kanye west guitarist. maybe since kanye isnt touring now, he isnt needed and is doing his other projects

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised.

They fixed the search function?! The end is nigh! Kill yourself!

My best friend really liked 808s And Heartbreak, and she's into '80s new wave and goth stuff. I thought it was a pretty decent record, from what I've heard. :idk:

ah, that's neat.

I'm not opposed to rap, in fact I welcome it if it's done well.

I don't get much rap here.. I don't get much of any american stuff. it's actually really nice.

It's not a rap record at all. It's some flavor of synthpop + R&B. It's very... "retro" sounding. It's obviously a modern record trying to emulate an '80s record to my ears; it's full of synth sounds straight out of 20-some years ago. I'm not sure if it's something I'd listen to on my own time, but it wasn't at all bad from what I heard.

And I for one don't think you're missing much by not getting American Top 40 radio! ;)
