Jazz band at around 16, major gig at 18, about 800 people did a on-air radio interview for the local rock station. After that, opened for Nevermore,Sebastian Bach, and Flotsam and Jetsam, but that was in my early 30's.

16 at my drummer's family BBQ. The burgers were good, the music was baaaad. I'd taught the bass player how to play bass maybe a couple weeks before that. haha
Had my first legit one at 18, wasn't bad at all, honestly. A lot of band drama, but I still had fun, especially with the free drinks :thu:

13 (1968) at the Jr High dance. No bass player and almost nothing but Credence covers. I told my brother (the one who just got his legs hacked off) "I can't do this, I am too nervous". The first song was Born on the Bayou and I couldn't remember the advanced opening lick.
