Members ejkennedy
If you can play the modded amp FIRST then do it. You may regret the change you get. If that isn't possible go for it.

Members eyeball987
Once I hear something in my tone that bothers me it's almost impossible for me not to hear it no matter how hard I tweak. I need to learn to turn that part of my brain off so that I can just play and stop freaking out about every tiny thing that I feel like I should be tweaking out. Members NaturalBornBoy
Do the mod only if you're absolutely 100% certain that the mod is gonna make the amp more to your liking. Could it be at all possible that you're not a Recto guy?
Members thefyn
If you don't get on with a map, I doubt a mod will be night and day enough to justify the expense.

Members Blackwater
If you like the recto tone, but want it to sound much better send it to voodoo. I can't say enough good things about those guys! They will make that recto sound so much better. Every voodoo modded amp I have heard truly brought the great characteristics of the amp to life. Also change your tubes!!
