Members TomTFS
Dirty dirty fuzz, HOG, delay (obviously)Anything that'll make it sound less like some crap classic rock guitar wankery.
Members TornadoOfSouls
Chuck Schuldiner inspired me to use a phaser for fast tapping parts. It sounds {censored}ing amazing.

Members superflyinmonke
The only effect pedal I own is a boost and I like the natural tone of my amp better, so I'll probably sell it. My answer is: The effect of my Chimera smashing your face.
Members stompboxfreak72
I use an octave pedal and a voice decoder. That way you cannot tell how bad my leads really are.

Members jimijam
Depends on the tune. But I always find myself using delay/verb and then occasional cocked wah to get more of a vocal quality to your tone...
Members telephant
Honestly, it depends on the song and my mood. I usually hit my OD808 for a slight volume and gain boost, and sometimes I'll add delay. i really like soloing with an Octavia with or without delay, and some times with a univibe on with all three, or just the Octavia. Fuzz Face with or without delay is one I use a lot as well. I also use a Whammy 1 for some solos, and again, sometimes with delay sometimes not. Back in the day when I was using my Roger Mayer 9090A wah, I would select a really low sweep, turn the whammy and octave down, and with high gain, or a fuzz it sounded really {censored}ing awesome. Kinda synth like.

Members JesusCrisp
Wah, delay, reverb, a tiny bit of phaser, sound pretty nice. For more extraordinary stuff a Whammy pedal. Slap-back delay is also nice, kinda reminds me of the Kill Em All lead sound.
Members Chrisjd
I love just using my carbon copy delay. It has a built in modulation control.

Members SnowStorm
Depends but usually; Phase or Delay. I've been getting into Vibrato though and that's cool. Someone said a touch of Flange and I think that's cool too.
Members pioneerprogress
I hate doing a ton of stomping, especially if I'm getting ready for a lead.If I add anything, it's some delay. Honestly I prefer delay more for clean parts anyway, so most of the time nothing.
Members "sasquatch"
usually just a neck pickup and maxon OD9. sometimes delay. sometime univibe. sometimes fuzz. sometimes all 3. i used to gig with a peavey studio pro and i could go from clean to lead with my volume knob and that's what i'd do; i'd turn up my guitar. yeah, that solid state amp sounds ok, but cleans up incredibly. light and bullet-proof. Members mikeyen
Usually boost in front + boost after + delay + verb. Maybe phase/wah/chorus depending on the song.

Members Urban Ghandi
I always have a touch of delay and reverb on at all time. So, all I use is a Solo Boost to make me LOUDER!
Members Jesse G
Delay, modulation, compression-anything more than a touch of reverb is a band-aid to cover up for playing that could be better. If you need anything more than a volume boost, you're doing something wrong. Tone is in the fingers. Kidding
